the location was perfect, offering a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. the cabins were comfortable, stocked with firewood, and had all the necessary amenities. I especially loved the cozy fireplace and the spacious bedroom with a queen bed and bunk beds. the staff were friendly, helpful, and professional, ensuring a pleasant stay. the breakfast basket provided was a delightful touch, adding to the overall positive experience.
The restaurant's early closure at 8:30 PM was a bit disappointing, especially for late arrivals.

The rooms at Granite Belt Retreat And Brewery are cozy and welcoming, with a cool verandah where I could relax and enjoy the fresh air. The lounge area with a TV and DVD player was perfect for chilling out after a long day of exploring.
Personally, I found the tea and coffee making facilities a bit lacking. But hey, everyone has different tastes, right?

Oh, how I longed for firewood in my room! Such a shame, because who doesn't love a crackling fire on those frosty nights?

We had a wonderful time at Granite Belt Retreat! The cozy cabin in the woods was perfect for our getaway. The spacious bedroom and comfortable bed ensured a restful sleep. The breakfast box filled with homemade bread, butter, jam, local apple juice, apples, and muesli was a delicious start to our day. The friendly owners who managed the bar and restaurant made us feel right at home. The limited menu options were still delightful, and my husband raved about the excellent beer. The spa room was a dream, with plenty of hot water and a fireplace stocked with wood. We also enjoyed the alpine feel of the restaurant, and it was convenient to have a great dining option just a short walk from our cabin.
We definitely recommend this hotel.

The staff were so friendly! They really went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. the cabins were clean and cozy, and the grounds were well-maintained. Plus, having a brewery on site was a fantastic bonus! We loved being able to try different beers and have a delicious meal without having to drive anywhere. the secluded location also provided a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.
The lack of modern furnishings in the cabins. While they had everything we needed, some upgrades would have made the stay even more comfortable.

As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the exceptional staff, comfortable cabins, and fantastic location. The freshly baked bread and local produce in the breakfast hamper were amazing. The single detached cottages with separate bedrooms, lounge, and deck were perfect for our group. The owner was friendly and gave us great suggestions for places to visit in the area. The different varieties of beer made my husband happy, and the restaurant served delicious chicken wings and calamari. We also enjoyed bird watching and seeing kangaroos and other animals.
Felt warmly welcomed, no complaints.
